FAQs
Which codes apply to steel storage tanks?
It depends on the product and size. Field-erected welded tanks for oil and similar liquids are commonly built to API 650, while shop-built aboveground tanks for flammable and combustible liquids in Canada are often specified to ULC-S601.
Can tanks be supplied shop-built and ready to install?
Yes. Shop-built tanks are fabricated, tested and coated before delivery, so site work is limited to setting, anchoring and connecting.
Who manufactures the parts?
Parts are manufactured within the Ferrokshar Group, in production since 1997. Engineering, project management and on-site support are handled by our team in Toronto, ON.
Who do I deal with?
Our engineering team is your single point of contact, from quote to delivery and after-sales service.
