FAQs
What substation structures do you fabricate?
Lattice and tubular gantries, dead-end structures, bus supports, equipment stands for breakers, disconnect switches, instrument transformers and surge arresters, cable support structures and platforms, with anchor bolts and templates.
How are substation structures protected against corrosion?
Most substation steel is hot-dip galvanized after fabrication to ASTM A123 or CSA G164, which protects both inside and outside surfaces and needs little maintenance.
Who manufactures the parts?
Parts are manufactured within the Ferrokshar Group, in production since 1997. Engineering, project management and on-site support are handled by our team in Toronto, ON.
Who do I deal with?
Our engineering team is your single point of contact, from quote to delivery and after-sales service.
